Qualifications

• Enrolled in or committed to completing a Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology.
• Strong interest in mechanical equipment and developing a long-term trade career.
• Willingness to learn through structured training, on-the-job experience and trade school.

Responsibilities

• Assist qualified technicians with inspection, maintenance, repair and overhaul of heavy equipment.
• Learn to diagnose mechanical, pneumatic, and basic electrical faults.
• Safely operate workshop tools, equipment and lifting devices while keeping a clean workspace.
• Complete apprenticeship training and attend required trade school.
• Work across service areas and participate in on-the-job training for broad industry experience.
• Demonstrate commitment to safety, quality, teamwork and continuous improvement.
