Liebherr-Australia invites you to join a Mobile Cranes Apprenticeship in Rockingham, WA. You'll gain hands-on experience with mobile and crawler cranes across Australia, supported by mentors and structured training to build a lasting trade. The program blends on‑the‑job learning, trade school attendance and safety‑driven practices. Start date 18 January 2027. Enrolment in Certificate III Mobile Plant Technology and a strong commitment to teamwork, safety and professional growth are expected.

Qualifications

Enrolled in, or committed to completing, a Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology.
Strong interest in mechanical equipment and heavy machinery.
Good literacy & numeracy and ability to document training.
Able to follow safety procedures and use hand tools safely.

Responsibilities

Assist qualified technicians with inspection, maintenance, repair and overhaul of heavy equipment.
Learn to diagnose mechanical, pneumatic, and basic electrical faults.
Safely operate workshop tools, equipment and lifting devices; maintain a clean workspace.
Complete apprenticeship training, attend trade school and keep training records.
Work across service areas and participate in on‑the‑job training.
Demonstrate commitment to safety, quality, teamwork and continuous improvement.
