Job summary

Heidelberg Materials is seeking a Mobile Project Manager (FIFO) to lead remote-site operations from Perth, WA. The role involves overseeing personnel, contractors and assets on site, ensuring safety, quality and timely documentation while managing client relationships.

Qualifications

The Role - Mobile Project Manager (FIFO)

We are seeking an enthusiastic, professional and reliable person to join our team as a Fly in Fly out (FIFO) Mobile Project Manager. Operating 3:1 or 2:1 roster - project dependent - point of hire Perth WA.

This exciting role oversees the successful management of our remote project concrete plants. Exceptional customer service, people management, strong commercial acumen and high-level administration skills are essential.

This position offers a competitive salary plus allowances, as well as ongoing development opportunities.

Key Deliverables:

Reporting to the Senior Project Manager, the duties and responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

• Managing employees and contractors working on remote sites
• Coordinating maintenance of the concrete batch plant, agitator truck fleet, and other site assets
• Undertaking general HR responsibilities including rostering, payroll, personnel onboarding, training and compliance activities
• Managing the project contract and client relationships
• Maintaining strict health and safety, quality and environmental controls
• Ensuring delivery and maintenance of high-level project documentation

Background and Experience required:

• Demonstrated experience in a similar role
• Total dedication to safety and risk management
• Section 26 Statutory Supervisor qualification will be highly regarded
• Excellent organisation and interpersonal skills
• Strong leadership skills, with the ability to problem solve
• A valid C Class Driver's License
• Previous experience in FIFO, mining or construction highly valued
• Computer literacy, contract, logistics and resourcing experience highly valued
