Job summary

Melitta Professional Coffee Solutions Australia is seeking a hands-on Field Service Technician for NSW. You will travel to customer sites to install, service and optimize coffee equipment, train operators, and tailor machine programming to customer needs.

Ideal candidates have 2–3 years in field service, strong mechanical/hydraulic/electronic skills and a customer-focused approach. NSW travel and occasional away-from-home stays are required. Training and support are provided by Melitta.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years in a field service technician role.
• Coffee machine experience is a plus but not essential — full training provided.
• Strong practical skills in mechanics, hydraulics and basic electronics.
• Customer-focused mindset with good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Execute service orders assigned by central planning.
• Install and commission coffee machines at customer sites.
• Conduct operator training on coffee machines and attachments.
• Set up recipes and machine programming to customer requirements.
• Perform planned preventive maintenance on machines.
• Diagnose and carry out reactive maintenance and repairs.
• Prepare technical service reports for each service order.
• Provide clear feedback to customers on completed work and next steps.
• Share recommendations for product and process improvements.
• Support the sales team on technical topics when required.
• Participate in after-hours on-call roster when needed.
• Stay up to date through training and conferences.
