Job summary

face2face Recruitment is seeking a Mobile Application Software Engineer (Developer) to design, build and support secure iOS and Android apps using React Native, TypeScript and Expo. You will collaborate with designers, QA and UX professionals in an agile environment to deliver high-quality mobile solutions.

You’ll work across mobile development, APIs and DevOps, translating UI/UX designs into robust components, and participate in code reviews and automated testing to ensure accessible, scalable

Qualifications

• Extensive experience developing iOS and Android apps with React Native and TypeScript.
• Experience with Expo and bridging React Native to native technologies.
• Experience with Kotlin, Java, Swift and Objective-C native development.
• Strong knowledge of mobile accessibility (WCAG 2.1).
• Experience with REST and GraphQL API integrations and automated testing.
• Ability to translate UI/UX designs into high-quality components.

About the Role

Working with React Native, TypeScript and modern mobile technologies, this role designs, develops, deploys and supports secure, accessible iOS and Android applications while collaborating closely with stakeholders, designers, QA teams and technical specialists.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, deploy and support mobile applications and integrations
• Develop high-quality solutions aligned with architectural and integration standards
• Participate in code reviews and maintain clean, readable and reliable code
• Develop automated unit, component, integration and functional tests
• Integrate mobile applications with REST, GraphQL and authentication services
• Work closely with QA teams to support shift-left testing and end-to-end quality

Skills & Experience

• Extensive experience developing iOS and Android applications using React Native and TypeScript
• Strong experience with Expo and bridging React Native to native technologies
• Experience with Kotlin, Java, Swift and Objective-C native development
• Strong understanding of mobile accessibility, including WCAG 2.1 guidelines
• Proven experience with REST and GraphQL API integrations and automated testing
• Experience translating UI/UX designs into high-quality mobile application components

Australian Citizenship & ability to obtain Baseline security clearance is a mandatory requirement for this position.
