Job summary

Talent Aligned is partnering with a fast-growing Australian engineering startup to hire a proactive React Native Developer. You will own mobile applications end-to-end, modernising mobile web experiences, add native features, and enable Bluetooth connectivity with physical devices.

You will lead evolution of the mobile app suite, manage end-to-end deployment to App Store and Google Play, and collaborate with Embedded SW and Hardware teams while contributing to customer-facing web store

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing app store releases: loading, publishing, guidelines navigation.
• Background in Start-up/Scale-up or consultancy environments is highly regarded.

We are currently partnering with one of the fastest growing Engineering Start/Scale up businesses in Australia.

The business Designs and Manufactures extremely complex instrumentation and monitoring equipment for essential use within extremely remote and harsh areas.

With over 30,000 sensors in the field and 10,000 active customers globally and a recent large cash injection to expand operations throughout both Australia and America, this is a once in a lifetime opportunity to join a company really making a difference.

We are looking for a proactive and autonomous React Native Developer to take ownership of their mobile applications end to end.

You will be instrumental in modernising their mobile web experience, adding native functionality, and enabling seamless Bluetooth connectivity between their apps and physical devices.

What You Will Do:

In this role, you will lead the evolution of the company's mobile application suite.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Building and integrating native app functionality such as Face ID, fingerprint login, custom splash screens, and in-app notifications.
• Working with different connectivity (Bluetooth, Satellite, 4G etc.)
• Managing the end-to-end deployment process for both the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
• Consulting and advising internal team members including Embedded SW and Hardware teams around connectivity and functionality
• Contributing to new customer-facing web store initiatives with the team when mobile development cycles permit.

The ideal background includes:

• Strong commercial experience developing and deploying mobile applications using React Native.
• Proven experience independently managing app store releases, including loading, publishing, and navigating store guidelines.
• A background in Start-up/Scale-up or Consultancy environments like start-ups is highly regarded.
• Experience or strong interest in connecting mobile apps to physical hardware is a bonus.
• A proactive mindset focused on continuous improvement and learning.
