Job summary

DWS Group in Sydney is seeking a Mobile App Solutions Architect to lead the design, governance, and standards for enterprise mobile apps across iOS, Android and cross‑platform technologies.

You will define mobile architecture, drive technical strategy, mentor delivery teams, and partner with product and UX to deliver secure, scalable solutions in a hybrid environment with 2–3 days onsite.

Qualifications

• Experience designing secure and scalable mobile architectures.

Job description

DWS is seeking a Mobile App Solutions Architect to lead the design, architecture, and governance of enterprise mobile applications across iOS, Android, and cross-platform technologies. This role is responsible for defining mobile architecture standards, driving technical strategy, and providing leadership to deliver secure, scalable, and high-performing mobile solutions.

Start: ASAP
Length: 6 months with the possibility of extension
Style: Hybrid; 2-3 days onsite
Salary: Up to $1,100/day (ACN) or up to $235K (inc super) Max Term

Key Responsibilities:

• Define enterprise mobile architecture, standards, and best practices.
• Design secure, scalable, and maintainable mobile solutions for iOS, Android, and cross-platform applications.
• Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and architecture governance.
• Develop mobile technology roadmaps aligned with business objectives.
• Design API integration, authentication, and cloud connectivity.
• Establish mobile security, compliance, and secure coding standards.
• Drive CI/CD, DevSecOps, automated testing, and App Store/Google Play release processes.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, product teams, UX designers, and engineering teams to deliver successful mobile initiatives.

Required Skills:

• Strong experience with Swift, SwiftUI, Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, Flutter, React Native, or .NET MAUI.
• Experience with REST APIs, GraphQL, microservices, and API-first architecture.
• Knowledge of Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Expertise in mobile security, DevOps, CI/CD, application performance, and enterprise integration.
• Strong stakeholder management, leadership, and Agile delivery experience.
