Growth Marketer.

Our marketing team is obsessed with one thing: the customer. What new customers think of us, what they love, and what makes them hesitate.

As a Growth Marketer, you’ll sit right in the middle of driving it: reading what actually drives customer behaviour, designing and building the programs and tests that shift it, and refining the mechanics that keep running on once they’re proven. You’ll take first crack at testing affiliate, referral and word‑of‑mouth as a brand‑new channel, and partner closely with the specialists who run paid and web to shape what they build.

Responsibilities
  • Read customer behaviour and turn it into testable hypotheses–what makes someone refer a mate, take the next step, or come back.
  • Design incentive and reward mechanics including referral structures and activation nudges across owned and partner channels.
  • Take point on building out and testing affiliates, referral and word‑of‑mouth as a new channel: design it, launch it, read the result, and hand off a running mechanic if it proves out.
  • Build and automate the operational side of whatever you’re testing in our marketing and automation tools, so it runs without babysitting.
  • Own the test loop: tracking, attribution reads, and feeding what you learn back into the growth strategy and forecast.
  • Stay accountable for the overall program’s and each test’s goals & metrics for success, including CPA, CAC, conversion.
  • Brief, partner and get your hands dirty with our campaigns, paid media, web and CRO specialists, so your briefs are sharp, strategic and actionable.
About You
  • 2-4 years in growth or acquisition marketing, or an equally hands‑on role, with real experience running paid and/or web/CRO work yourself.
  • Self‑service B2B background highly regarded; SaaS, fintech, payments or accounting experience preferred.
  • You understand what motivates action, and can point to incentive or reward mechanics you’ve actually designed.
  • Comfortable building and automating processes yourself in a marketing‑automation or CRM tool.
  • Fluent in attribution and A/B testing; second nature pulling and presenting performance data (Mixpanel, Amplitude, GA4 or similar) to show what’s working.
  • A structured thinker who breaks down ambiguous problems and stays curious about why experiments land the way they do.
  • A feel for brand and copy — you can write and tighten on‑brand test copy yourself.
  • Comfort in Figma and basic creative‑design handling a plus.

Bonus: you’ve designed or tested referral, affiliate, loyalty or incentive mechanics before. If you’ve done it, we want to hear how it went, including what broke.

We know not everyone will meet every requirement, and that’s okay. If you’re excited about the role and believe you can make an impact, we’re keen to hear from you.

A few more things…

Successful candidates joining the team will need to complete a National Police Record Check.

Candidates who require adjustments at any stage of the recruitment process are encouraged to let us know. We’re happy to support you.

We’re committed to an inclusive and diverse recruitment process where everyone feels respected and supported. We welcome applicants from all backgrounds, identities and abilities and ensure fair, equitable consideration at every stage.

Every young person should have the chance to build the skills they need to navigate life. That should not depend on which school they attend or where they live.

That is why Wellio exists. We help schools make wellbeing a consistent part of everyday learning, so teachers can deliver it with confidence, students genuinely engage with it and leaders can see what is working and where to improve.

We are building a new category: the Wellbeing Management System for K‑12 schools. Our platform brings together 600+ editable, curriculum‑aligned lessons, student surveys and insights, and hands‑on implementation support in one place.

Today, more than 1,000 schools, 25,000 teachers and 210,000 students use Wellio around the world. Our long‑term ambition is to support 50,000 schools and 25 million students across 50 countries.

About the Role

This is a rare chance to become Wellio’s second full‑time marketer at a fast‑growing global education company. You will have real ownership from day one: a meaningful budget, direct access to the Head of Marketing, our founders and regional sales leaders, and the freedom to shape how Wellio goes to market around the world.

The role spans three core areas: outbound, events and ABM, with outbound as the primary focus. You will scale an outbound engine that is already working, take over and improve an established global events program across our markets, and own our global ABM strategy.

This is a hands‑on individual contributor role. You will choose the audience, sharpen the message, build the campaign, solve the operational details and learn from the result. Across the year, you may coordinate 20 to 30 campaigns, with several running at the same time as major conferences.

You will own a target for qualified sales meetings generated across outbound, events and ABM, and share accountability with Sales for the opportunities and pipeline that follow.

This role can be based in either Sydney or Melbourne, with a hybrid working arrangement.

What You’ll Do
  • Run scaled EDM and outbound campaigns on behalf of our SDR teams across Australia, the UK and international markets. Identify audiences, build and segment lists, write copy, choose offers, QA and launch campaigns, monitor deliverability and hand qualified interest cleanly to Sales.
  • Combine school context, CRM history, intent, previous objections, customer proof and market signals to improve who we contact, when and what we say.
  • Deliver against a target for qualified sales meetings, track reply quality, opportunities and pipeline, and improve each campaign with what you learn.

2. Own and grow our global events program

  • Identify and recommend the right conferences, from Sydney and London to Bangkok, Dubai and Copenhagen. Once we commit, own the program end to end.
  • Manage budgets, bookings, suppliers, equipment, collateral, staffing, deadlines and logistics so Sales can arrive prepared and focused on selling.
  • Set the audience, target accounts, commercial goal and follow‑up plan. Brief the team attending, then coordinate pre‑event, onsite and post‑event activity across the right channels.
  • Track meetings, opportunities, pipeline and market learning, not foot traffic or badge scans alone.

3. Own our global ABM strategy

  • Identify priority accounts and buying groups, tier them and decide where one‑to‑one, one‑to‑few or one‑to‑many plays make sense.
  • Use account intelligence, market signals and customer proof to coordinate EDM, conferences, direct mail, LinkedIn, paid media and content around one account plan.
  • Track engagement, qualified meetings, opportunities and pipeline within target accounts, then keep improving the program.

4. Build the foundations for scale

  • Use research, CRM data and Sales feedback to codify our ICPs, segments, personas, buying groups, value propositions and messages.
  • Build practical workflows for research, segmentation, personalisation, copy, QA and reporting. Spot patterns, connect tools and keep improving how the work gets done.
  • Build trusted relationships with leaders and reps across regions, turn field insight into action and close the loop on results.
About You

You are a hands‑on B2B marketer who can think, build and deliver. Your background may be in growth, demand generation, lifecycle, field marketing or outbound. We care more about what you have personally improved than your exact title or years of experience.

  • You have built or materially improved a B2B outbound or EDM engine. You understand the whole system, from audience and segmentation to copy, deliverability and measurement.
  • You have built or materially improved sales‑aligned ABM programs. You can identify buying groups, tier accounts, choose the right level of investment and coordinate campaigns across channels.
  • Your marketing fundamentals are strong. You turn insight into clear ICPs, positioning, value propositions, offers and campaigns, and write copy that makes scaled outreach feel relevant.
  • You are an exceptional operator. You have run complex events and can keep a high volume of campaigns moving across markets and time zones without dropping deadlines, details or follow‑up.
  • You are AI‑fluent. AI and automation are already part of how you research, analyse, write, personalise and build workflows. You can show how your systems have improved the work.
  • Sales teams trust you. You communicate clearly, follow through and turn field feedback into stronger marketing. You care about qualified meetings, opportunities and pipeline, not activity for its own sake.
  • You move comfortably between strategy and execution. Writing copy, building a campaign, briefing a contractor and making a strategic trade‑off all feel like part of the same job.
Why You Should Work Here
  • Real traction with room to build. Wellio already has global reach, but the team is still small enough for your work to change how we grow.
  • Learn from people who have built at scale. Work directly with a Head of Marketing who previously led B2B growth at Canva, alongside founders and sales leaders across the world.
  • A genuinely global role. You will work across Australia, the UK and international markets, with travel for priority events. We also bring the team together each year to shape the strategy and spend time together outside work. The plan is for you to join our global Sales team in Bangkok this December to help build our 2027 plan.
  • Impact at scale. Help make high‑quality wellbeing education part of everyday learning for millions more students.
Build a growth engine around ideas worth paying attention to

Our client is looking for a hands‑on Growth Marketing Manager to build a new authority‑led growth engine from the ground up. This is not a role where you will inherit a mature funnel, a large marketing team and years of campaign data. You will help define the approach, test what works and build the systems that turn strong ideas into qualified commercial opportunities.

Our client works with senior leaders and executive teams across complex organisations around the world. Through that work, the business has developed original data, deep expertise and a clear point of view on what helps leadership teams perform well.

That insight is now being turned into serious, data‑backed books and thought leadership.

The substance already exists.

Your job is to make sure it reaches the right people, earns their attention and gives them a compelling reason to continue the conversation.

About the business

Our client is a growing Melbourne‑founded technology company operating in the leadership and performance space.

Its platform helps senior decision‑makers understand where their organisation or leadership team needs to be, where it is today and how to close the gap in a practical and repeatable way.

The business works with major listed companies, government, private sector and not‑for‑profit organisations across Australia and international markets.

Since launching in 2019, it has built strong market credibility, an increasingly global client base and a sophisticated product that supports leaders making decisions at the highest levels of organisations.

The company is now entering an important stage of growth, with ambitious international plans and a strong focus on building a more scalable commercial engine.

The opportunity

This business operates in a market where trust matters more than marketing noise.

Its audience is experienced, time‑poor and heavily marketed to. Generic content, inflated claims and predictable nurture sequences are unlikely to cut through.

Their attention needs to be earned.

The growth strategy begins with authority. The business is developing data‑backed books and thought leadership based on proprietary analysis and deep subject‑matter expertise. These assets are designed to reach senior leaders with ideas that are useful, credible and worth their time.

You will build the growth engine around them.

You will own the journey from the first campaign impression through to a qualified commercial opportunity. That includes audience strategy, paid acquisition, landing pages, conversion, nurture, marketing automation and reporting.

You will work closely with commercial and account teams to understand which contacts are genuinely engaged, when a relationship is ready to progress and how marketing can contribute to meaningful pipeline.

This is a broad role, but it is not a catch‑all marketing position. Your focus is building a disciplined and measurable growth engine that connects strong thinking with the people most likely to value it.

What you will be doing

You will:

  • Take the business’s first major authority‑led campaign to market
  • Develop campaign positioning, messaging and audience strategy
  • Write advertisements, landing pages, emails and nurture content for a senior audience
  • Plan and manage paid search and digital placement activity
  • Build landing pages and improve website conversion
  • Create lead capture and nurture journeys
  • Segment audiences by market, seniority, behaviour and commercial relevance
  • Build pathways for engaged contacts into the organisation’s broader executive community
  • Work with commercial teams to identify qualified opportunities
  • Improve marketing automation and CRM workflows
  • Test new acquisition channels, audiences and campaign approaches
  • Track cost per lead, lead quality, conversion and influenced pipeline
  • Build reporting that clearly shows what is working and what needs to change
  • Use AI to develop and improve marketing assets while maintaining a high standard of quality
  • Identify when agency, creative or technical support is needed
  • Build a repeatable model that can support future campaigns, audiences and international markets
About You

We’re looking for a growth marketer who can think strategically and still enjoys doing the work.

You may currently work in B2B technology, SaaS, professional services, consulting, financial services or an agency environment. Your title matters less than the campaigns, systems and commercial outcomes you have helped create.

  • Hands‑on experience in growth marketing, demand generation or performance marketing
  • A track record of delivering B2B campaigns from strategy through to execution
  • Strong paid search and digital advertising capability
  • Experience building landing pages and improving conversion
  • Confidence developing nurture journeys and marketing automation
  • Strong marketing copywriting skills
  • Experience with campaign analytics, attribution and reporting
  • The ability to connect marketing activity with qualified pipeline
  • A clear understanding of the difference between lead volume and lead value
  • Confidence marketing to senior, discerning or specialised audiences
  • Practical experience using AI as a marketing production and problem‑solving tool
  • Strong commercial judgement and attention to detail
  • Enjoy working with creatives and storytellers
Why join us

We’re committed to an inclusive and diverse recruitment process where everyone feels respected and supported. We welcome applicants from all backgrounds, identities and abilities and ensure fair, equitable consideration at every stage.

We’ll support you through every step of the journey, from application to interview to onboarding.
