Job summary

MM Electrical Merchandising (MMEM) invites applicants to join its Sales & Leadership Graduate Program in the Wide Bay region, including Hervey Bay, Maryborough and Bundaberg. No degree or electrical experience is required—attitude and willingness to learn matter most.

You will rotate through Operations, Internal Sales, Administration, Projects, Purchasing and External Sales, gaining hands-on experience and completing courses in sales, leadership and financial management.

Responsibilities

• Rotate through Operations & Warehouse to learn products, systems and processes.
• Rotate through Internal Sales to build sales knowledge.
• Rotate through Administration & Commercial to understand financials.
• Rotate through Projects & Purchasing for quoting and negotiation exposure.
• Rotate through External Sales to develop business development skills.
• Complete tailored courses across sales, leadership, negotiation and financial management.

Job description

MM Electrical Merchandising (MMEM) is looking for ambitious people to join our Sales & Leadership Graduate Program in the Wide Bay region, gaining hands-on experience across our businesses in Hervey Bay, Maryborough and Bundaberg.

You don't necessarily need a university degree or electrical industry experience. We're more interested in your attitude, ambition and willingness to learn.

How The Program Works

You’ll rotate through several businesses, working with different managers, teams and customers as you build experience across:

• Operations & Warehouse: Learn the products, systems and processes that keep things running.
• Internal Sales: Work directly with customers and build your sales and product knowledge.
• Administration & Commercial: Understand the financial side of the business.
• Projects & Purchasing: Gain exposure to quoting, purchasing and negotiation.
• External Sales: Build your business development skills.

You’ll also complete tailored courses across sales, leadership, negotiation and financial management, plus product training, factory tours and graduate networking.

From there, potential career pathways include Business Development Manager, Sales Manager, Operations Manager, Assistant Manager and Business Manager.

We're Looking For Someone Who

A university qualification, particularly in business, would be an advantage, but is not essential. We're equally interested in people who have the right attitude and potential to succeed.
