Job summary

Leidos Australia is seeking a software engineer to design, develop and support secure, scalable software solutions. You’ll work within a multidisciplinary team, translating requirements into practical technical solutions across the full software lifecycle.

You will collaborate with architects, engineers, testers and stakeholders to deliver reliable software, with emphasis on secure coding, testing and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience with contemporary programming languages and frameworks.
• Understanding of software design principles and secure coding practices.
• Ability to interpret requirements and document solutions.
• Experience with unit and integration testing and code reviews.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and support software solutions across the lifecycle.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, testers and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Investigate defects and performance issues, perform root-cause analysis, implement improvements.
• Contribute to code reviews, documentation, automated testing, CI/CD pipelines and engineering best practices.
