Job summary
Leidos Australia is seeking a senior technical leader to drive the delivery of secure software solutions in complex environments in Melbourne. You will guide software and platform engineers, align architecture with implementation, and resolve cross‑domain issues across containers, infrastructure and integration workstreams.

Qualifications
- Experience providing technical leadership to multidisciplinary teams in complex delivery environments.
- Ability to translate operational, security and business needs into implementable technical solutions.
- Knowledge of software architecture, APIs and interfaces, authentication and SSO, containerised deployment, integration and lifecycle practices.
- Experience leading application and platform migration activities and performing technical reviews.
- Capability in technical risk assessment, documentation and communicating impacts to leadership.
- Ability to communicate with customers, architects, engineers and project leaders.
Responsibilities
- Lead technical delivery of complex software solutions into secure, standalone environments.
- Provide technical direction to multidisciplinary teams of software and platform engineers.
- Connect architecture with implementation and resolve issues across applications, container platforms, infrastructure services and integration workstreams.
- Lead technical planning, solution design and implementation across uplift, platform migration, integration and deployment activities.
- Own the technical approach and ensure alignment across delivery workstreams.
- Coordinate technical readiness across build, test and production environments including deployment dependencies.
- Guide adaptation of existing applications for secure environments while maintaining common source code baselines.
- Manage dependencies across applications, platforms and infrastructure services.
