Job summary

Redpath Australia is seeking a motivated Mining Yardsperson for Evolution Mining's Lake Cowal Underground Gold Mine in New South Wales. The role focuses on efficient operation of surface facilities, stores and laydown areas, supporting mining and maintenance teams with equipment, materials and consumables.

You will receive, inspect and distribute items, load/unload deliveries, and maintain yard facilities while adhering to safety standards.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a mining, warehouse, stores or yardperson role.
• Current Forklift Licence (highly desirable).
• Experience operating telehandlers, loaders or similar mobile equipment advantageous.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
• Commitment to safety and operational excellence.
• Sound communication skills and a proactive attitude.
• Current Australian work rights.
• Ability to pass site medical and employment requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist with inventory management and stock control activities.

• Identify and report hazards, incidents and equipment defects; support continuous improvement initiatives across site operations.

Responsibilities

About the Role

As a Mining Yardsperson, you will play a key role in ensuring the efficient operation of site surface facilities, stores and laydown areas. You will be responsible for supporting mining and maintenance teams through the safe handling, movement and organisation of equipment, materials and consumables.
