Job summary

Glencore Ravensworth Operations in NSW is seeking a Warehouse Officer to join the team and support a reliable, adaptive, and efficient warehouse operation. Reporting to the Supply Coordinator, you will ensure a cost-effective, clean, and well-organised environment, receive and process inbound deliveries, and pick parts for maintenance in a timely manner.

You will maintain stock accuracy, conduct regular stocktakes, and uphold safety and security standards in a dynamic mining setting.

Qualifications

• Cert III in Supply Chain Operations, or relevant qualification.
• Proven experience working in a busy warehouse environment.
• Experience using SAP Materials Management (MM) system would be an advantage, but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a cost-effective, clean, and well-organised warehouse environment.
• Uphold high standards of housekeeping, safety, compliance and security at all times.
• Receive, inspect, and process all inbound deliveries in a timely and accurate manner.
• Pick and prepare parts for scheduled maintenance work, communicating shortages to relevant stakeholders.
• Process returns of unused parts to stock or suppliers as required.
• Accurately issue stock and record all warehouse movements in the system.
• Conduct regular accurate stocktakes and assist with inventory investigations and reconciliation activities.
• Maintain optimal stock levels and ensure items are stored in their correct allocated locations.
• Safely operate a forklift for loading and unloading deliveries and general warehouse tasks.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to the implementation of operational programs aligned with organisational values.
