Job summary

Glencore's Ravensworth Operations is seeking a Warehouse Officer to maintain a cost-efficient, clean warehouse and to handle inbound deliveries and stock movements with high accuracy.

You will contribute to safety, housekeeping, and stock integrity while supporting maintenance and inventory activities in a busy mining logistics setting.

Qualifications

• Cert III in Supply Chain Operations.
• Current forklift licence.
• Proven experience in a busy warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a cost-effective, clean, and well-organised warehouse environment.
• Uphold high standards of housekeeping, safety, compliance and security.
• Receive, inspect, and process all inbound deliveries in a timely and accurate manner.
• Pick and prepare parts for scheduled maintenance work and notify shortages.
• Process returns of unused parts to stock or suppliers.
• Accurately issue stock and record all warehouse movements in the system.
• Conduct regular stocktakes and assist with inventory investigations.
• Maintain optimal stock levels and correct storage locations.
• Safely operate a forklift for loading/unloading and general tasks.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and operational programs.

Warehouse Officer Ravensworth Operations Ravensworth, NSW Ravensworth Operations comprises of Ravensworth Open Cut and the Coal Handling Preparation Plant that provides high quality coal for the export market. The operation has approval to mine over 14Mtpa, with a long life of mine. The Role

• Maintaining a cost-effective, clean, and well-organised warehouse environment
• Upholding high standards of housekeeping, safety, compliance and security at all times
• Receive, inspect, and process all inbound deliveries in a timely and accurate manner
• Pick and prepare parts for scheduled maintenance work, communicating any shortages to relevant stakeholders
• Processing returns of unused parts to stock or suppliers as required
• Accurately issue stock and record all warehouse movements in the system
• Conducting regular accurate stocktakes and assist with inventory investigations and reconciliation activities
• Maintaining optimal stock levels and ensure items are stored in their correct allocated locations
• Safely operate a forklift for loading and unloading deliveries and general warehouse tasks
• Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to the implementation of operational programs aligned with organisational values

About you

• Cert III in Supply Chain Operations, or relevant qualification
• A current forklift licence
• Proven experience working in a busy warehouse environment
• Experience using SAP Materials Management (MM) system would be an advantage, but not essential
