Job summary

Caterpillar Financial Services Corporation is seeking a Lead Value Engineer to quantify and demonstrate the business value of Caterpillar mining technology solutions across regional sites. You will establish baselines, build data-driven business cases, and drive deployment decisions with commercial and field teams.

You will collaborate with mine site leaders, dealers and global teams to translate insights into measurable outcomes, shaping technology investments and ensuring ROI across AHS, Fleet

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mining or Industrial Engineering or related field.
• Experience in mining operations or mine planning.
• Experience with MineStar or similar technology solutions.
• Proficiency with planning, simulation or analytics tools.
• Customer-facing experience and cross-cultural collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead value engineering for the region and develop customer business cases.
• Establish value baselines using performance data.
• Build value simulations and models for MineStar impact.
• Evaluate haul cycles, fleet sizing, and equipment utilization.
• Collaborate with Commercial and Sales to shape value propositions.
• Baseline operations with Performance Intelligence partnerships.
• Apply benchmarking to assess value potential at new sites.
• Define value targets for deployment success.
• Support value realization reviews and close gaps.
• Present findings to operations, planning, finance and exec stakeholders.
• Contribute to global value engineering standards.
