Job summary

Hitachi Construction Machinery Australia – Brisbane Branch is seeking a Technology Systems Specialist to lead the deployment and support of mining technology systems. You will coordinate QA processes, collaborate with suppliers, and work with the installation team to ensure OEM-grade installations.

The role requires a trade qualification in automotive electrical, electronics or communications and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification in automotive electrical, electronics or communications.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience supervising project hardware installations.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, QA and support Mining Systems deployments for clients.
• Design and procure non-standard bracketry and installation components with suppliers.
• Install Mining technology Systems on heavy mining equipment and maintain OEM quality.
• Commissioning and QA of mobile mining technology systems.
• Provide hardware and system upkeep training to customers.
• Onboard software installation for new customers and document projects to OEM standards.
• Diagnose issues and report resolutions with accurate database entries.
• Stay current with WencoLite, WencoMine FMS and HPMG systems.
