Job summary

Based in our Cairns facility in Bungalow, you will skip general residential work to focus on high-precision manufacturing. You will assemble and wire custom mining-spec switchboards and control systems.

You must hold a Queensland Electrical Licence, have proven experience in switchboard building and intricate control wiring, and be committed to long-term work in Cairns with permanent Australian working rights.

Qualifications

• Queensland Electrical Licence (card) is mandatory.
• Experience in switchboard building and intricate control wiring.
• Understanding AS/NZS Electrical Standards and OH&S.
• Permanent Australian working rights (no sponsorship).
• Full Driver’s Licence.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and wire custom mining-spec switchboards and control systems.
• Execute complex control wiring according to technical schematics.
• Ensure all builds meet AS/NZS Electrical Standards and QA sequences.
