Avaton Acquire is seeking skilled Switchboard Electricians for workshop-based roles in the Brisbane area. You will build main switchboards, MCCs and distribution boards, including heavy copper busbar work and control panels.

Some roles focus on power/busbar work while others concentrate on control wiring and PLC panel assembly. Reading schematics and build documentation is essential. Long-term opportunities with competitive rates offered.

Switchboard Electrician / Builder – Workshop Based (Brisbane)

We’re partnering with an established Brisbane switchboard manufacturer and industrial electrical business who are flat‑out and growing.

These are workshop‑based roles building a wide range of:

• Main switchboards, MCCs and distribution boards
• Heavy power builds including copper busbar
• Control panels, PLC and automation cabinets

Some positions lean toward power and busbar work. Others focus on control wiring and panel builds.

What we need:

• A licensed Electrician with switchboard experience
• A dedicated Switchboard Builder or Electrical Fitter
• Strong in heavy power and copper busbar
• Or strong in control panels, PLC wiring and neat looms
• Confident reading schematics and build documentation
