Job summary

Titan Recruitment is seeking an Experienced Structural Designer with Tekla software experience to join a well regarded engineering consultant specialising in providing multi discipline engineering solutions across diverse minerals processing plant projects. This 6-12 month contract in the Perth eastern suburbs offers a free car park, a competitive hourly rate and a busy project portfolio.

You will develop detailed structural designs, produce 3D models and construction packages while coordinating

Qualifications

• Experience as a Structural Designer within mining, minerals processing, resources, or heavy industrial environments.
• Proficient with structural design and modelling software such as Tekla
• Experience producing structural steel and reinforced concrete design documentation.
• Good understanding of mining clients drawing requirements
• Broad experience with 3D CAD platforms and modelling workflows
• Ability to work collaboratively within a consulting engineering environment and manage multiple project priorities.
• Excellent team skills and communication

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed structural design and drafting deliverables for mining and minerals processing projects
• Produce 3D models, general arrangements, detailed drawings, and construction packages.
• Coordinate closely with Structural Engineers, Mechanical Engineers and Designers
• Participate in design reviews, interdisciplinary coordination, and constructability assessments.
• Ensure deliverables are produced in accordance with client specifications, Australian Standards, and project requirements.
