Job summary

Hastings Deering, Archerfield (Brisbane), is seeking a Resource Industries Sales Support Coordinator to join its Mining Sales team. The role coordinates new mining equipment sales administration, supplier engagement and financial processes, ensuring accurate records and smooth order progression.

You will process equipment orders, manage documentation, liaise with internal teams and suppliers, and support pricing, rebates and data quality.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in an administration, coordination customer service or support role.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work accurately with data and documentation.
• Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
• An interest in business and financial performance, with the ability to analyse information, understand key metrics, and apply insights to day-to-day work.
• Experience using ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics AX (or similar) is desirable, but not essential
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• A proactive attitude and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Process equipment orders and support the coordination of new mining equipment purchases from Caterpillar.
• Maintain accurate records across sales, inventory and financial systems.
• Prepare and process documentation including purchase requisitions, claims and supplier information.
• Support sales administration activities to help ensure projects and orders progress smoothly.
• Liaise with internal teams and suppliers to obtain delivery, pricing and shipment information.
• Process rebate and pricing program claims in line with established procedures.
• Monitor data quality and system updates to ensure records remain accurate and compliant.
• Provide general administrative support to the Mining Sales team as required.
