Job summary

MWG Mining Group is seeking an experienced Recruitment Lead to manage and grow our Brisbane-based recruitment function across mining projects. You will lead a hands-on team while delivering high-quality candidate placements and maintaining strong client engagement.

This Brisbane-based role emphasizes ownership of end-to-end recruitment delivery, development of candidate pipelines and alignment with client requirements, ensuring efficiency and strong hiring outcomes.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated recruitment experience, ideally within mining, resources or a similar high volume industry.
• Experience leading, mentoring or coordinating recruitment activities and team members.
• Strong sourcing, candidate management and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
• A proactive, solutions-focused approach with a strong sense of accountability.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and support the recruitment team to achieve recruitment targets.
• Manage end to end recruitment, from sourcing and screening through to candidate selection and placement.
• Develop proactive sourcing strategies and maintain strong candidate pipelines.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, hiring managers and candidates.
• Manage recruitment priorities, vacancies and deadlines across multiple mining projects.
• Monitor recruitment performance, reporting and candidate management systems.
• Identify opportunities to improve recruitment processes and efficiencies.
• Support recruitment planning and team resourcing in line with operational requirements and new contracts.
