TSS Group is seeking a skilled Purchasing Officer for a mining operation in Western Australia on a 6-month contract. The role focuses on sourcing goods and services, expediting critical orders, and coordinating logistics to meet shutdown timelines.

You'll manage PO creation in SAP MM, negotiate terms, and ensure timely delivery while upholding commercial expectations and project deadlines. Prior mining/resources experience is advantageous, with strong MS Office proficiency.

Qualifications

• Experience in purchasing/procurement roles in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience working with SAP MM module and procurement processes.
• Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple orders and priorities under time pressure.
• Excellent Excel/Office suite proficiency.

Responsabilités

• Manage end-to-end purchasing activities for goods and services, ensuring quality and delivery.
• Raise and manage purchase orders through SAP MM module.
• Negotiate pricing, terms and delivery with suppliers.
• Coordinate freight and logistics to meet critical timelines.
• Expedite orders and support shutdown planning as required.
• Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues.
• Assist with procurement expenditure planning and cost control.
