Job summary

EPSA Pacific is seeking a qualified Maintenance Supervisor for our Callide Mine operation in Queensland. You will lead a maintenance team, prioritise safety, manage hazards, and drive reliability and efficiency of mining plant and equipment.

Reporting to the Superintendent, you will coach and develop team members, ensure accurate work-order closeouts, and implement safety plans. You will work with maintenance managers to deliver the maintenance plan and communicate operational issues promptly.

Qualifications

• Certificate Standard 11.
• Current Australian Driver Licence.
• Current Coal Board Medical, or willingness to complete along with a Pre-Employment Medical including drug and alcohol test.
• First Aid Certificate.
• G1, G8, G9 (formerly S1,S2,S3) and G2 tickets.
• Australian trade qualified with extensive experience in the maintenance of mining plant and equipment.
• Minimum 5 years mining experience in the maintenance of mining plant and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure maintenance activities prioritise safety.
• Provide leadership through coaching, mentoring, and development activities to team members driving a positive workplace culture.
• Ensure work order feedback and closeouts are completed accurately to improve maintenance efficiencies.
• Provide leadership to the workshop maintenance crews to achieve the maintenance plan.
• Assist the Maintenance Manager & Superintendents in implementing safety plans.
• Track maintenance performance and ensure operational issues are managed and communicated in a timely manner.
