EPSA seeks a maintenance supervisor to lead workshop crews and deliver the maintenance plan at a mining site. You will prioritise safety, coach the team, and ensure reliable work orders and timely communication with management.

The role requires an Australian trade qualification, 4+ years mining maintenance experience, and current medical and licences. A 7/7 roster, camp meals, and salary sacrifice options are offered as part of a family-owned, safety-focused team.

Qualifications

• Australian trade qualification and extensive mining plant maintenance experience are essential.
• Standard 11 and Coal Board Medical are required certifications.
• First Aid Certificate and a valid Australian driver's licence are mandatory.
• Demonstrated safety leadership and people-management experience are required.
• Experience with medium to large mining operators/contractors is preferred.

Responsabilités

About the role:

• While reporting to the Superintendent:
• Ensure maintenance activities prioritise safety, through effective hazard identification and risk management.
• Provide leadership through coaching, mentoring, and developmental activities to members of the team driving a positive workplace culture.
• Ensure work order feedback and closeouts are completed accurately to improve maintenance efficiencies.
• Provide leadership to the workshop maintenance crews to achieve the maintenance plan.
• Assist the Maintenance Manager & Superintendents in implementing safety plans.
• Track maintenance performance and ensure operational issues are managed and communicated in a timely manner.

To be successful you will have:

• Australian trade qualified with extensive experience in the maintenance of mining plant and equipment – Essential
• Previous experience in supervisory roles (leading hand experience considered but direct supervisory experience preferred)
• Minimum 4 years mining experience in the maintenance of mining plant and equipment
• Standard 11
• Current Australian Drivers Licence
• Current Coal Board Medical, or willingness to complete along with a Pre – employment medical including drug and alcohol test
• First Aid Certificate
• Demonstrate positive safety leadership skills and safety behaviour
• Effective people management and development experience and skills
• Experience working for a medium to large mine operator/contractor
• Well-developed verbal and written communication skills
• Work Planning and scheduling skills
