Job summary

MACA is seeking a Maintenance Scheduler for a permanent full-time FIFO role from Perth to the Karlawinda Gold Project in the Pilbara region of WA. The candidate will drive maintenance planning to optimise plant reliability and ensure accurate records.

5+ years in mining production/maintenance, strong computer literacy, and experience with mobile and fixed plant maintenance scheduling are required. MACA offers competitive rates, wellbeing resources, and health-insurance discounts.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in mining production/maintenance environment
• Sound knowledge of process technologies and equipment relevant to open-cut mining
• Experience in mobile and fixed plant maintenance planning and scheduling
• Sound computer literacy

Responsibilities

• Regularly review and update the Plant Management Plan.
• Implement and control all work order requests.
• Develop long and short term programmes to optimise maintenance planning and reliability of plant/equipment.
• Identify equipment not meeting reliability and pursue improvements.
• Develop and implement maintenance plans and schedules with cost/time estimates.
• Carry out maintenance risk analysis for sites regarding plant/equipment.
• Ensure accuracy of job records database and maintenance history.
• Ensure KPIs are captured and reported for equipment reliability and planning/scheduling.
• Collaborate with supervision to schedule manpower and resources for best production/maintenance outcomes.
• Participate in scheduling meetings to finalise priority of work orders and optimise downtime lead-times.
