Job summary

MACA is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for the McPhee Creek Iron Ore Project, WA, to join on a permanent full-time basis. The role operates on an 8/6, 7/7 FIFO roster from Perth, with the site located 30km north of Nullagine in the Pilbara.

Qualifications

• Leads and coordinates maintenance crews in a mining environment.
• Ensures safe, compliant maintenance operations with HSE procedures.
• Provides technical guidance and on‑the‑job training to crews.
• Plans, schedules and supports preventative and corrective activities to minimise downtime.
• Inspects and audits drill equipment and facilities; reports defects and rectifies.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate maintenance crews, ensuring effective utilisation of personnel and equipment, clear communication of work requirements, and competency in assigned maintenance tasks.
• Oversee safe, compliant maintenance operations by enforcing HSE procedures, isolations, permits, and risk controls in line with site and legislative requirements.
• Provide technical guidance, coaching, and on-the-job training to maintenance personnel, while monitoring shift performance to achieve planned maintenance and equipment availability targets.
• Plan, schedule, and support preventative and corrective maintenance activities in collaboration with operations and reliability teams to minimise downtime.
• Inspect, audit, and verify the condition of drill equipment, tools, and maintenance facilities, ensuring defects are identified, reported, and rectified.
• Report maintenance issues and deviations from plans, complete required documentation, and lead investigations into equipment failures, incidents, or near misses.
