Job summary

Mount Isa Mines, part of Glencore, invites applications for a Planner role based in Mount Isa. The position focuses on short-term maintenance planning for fixed plant, working with maintenance teams to deliver effective plans while complying with regulatory requirements.

A residential roster of 5/2 4/3 with 9-hour shifts applies. Reporting to the Lead Planner, you will plan, schedule and load resources, optimise asset performance, and drive continuous improvement within governance frameworks.

Qualifications

• Experience in planning and scheduling maintenance activities in large mining environments.
• Understanding of mining legislation, standards, and statutory compliance requirements.
• Proven ability to coordinate with maintenance teams and supervisors to deliver effective maintenance plans.

Responsibilities

• Deliver weekly schedules for maintenance execution departments using SAP.
• Procure resources, parts and materials ensuring availability for scheduled work.
• Champion Maintenance Work Management processes and mentor team members.
• Support supervisors and management to achieve KPI targets and reporting.
• Custodian of SAP records to ensure compliance with standards.
