Job summary

Macmahon is seeking a Maintenance Planner to join our surface mining operations in Australia. The role focuses on planning and coordinating maintenance across projects, ensuring safe and efficient scheduling to maximise fleet availability and reliability.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a Maintenance Planner role within a mining, heavy industry or mobile equipment environment.
Strong organisational, communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to analyse maintenance requirements, prioritise competing demands and make effective decisions in a fast-paced environment.
Commitment to safety, respect and doing things the right way.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain short and long-term maintenance plans to support fleet availability and reliability.
Schedule maintenance activities, labour and resources in line with operational requirements.
Monitor maintenance execution and adjust schedules to accommodate changing priorities and breakdowns.
Coordinate with maintenance and production teams to optimise equipment downtime and productivity.
Promote safe work practices and contribute to continuous improvement and operational efficiency.
