Job summary

Macmahon is seeking a site-based Maintenance Planner in Queensland to plan and coordinate maintenance across our project fleet. You will develop maintenance plans, manage schedules and collaborate with supervisors, tradespeople and operations to maximise fleet availability and reliability.

You'll work with experienced teammates who value safety and efficiency, on a DIDO 7:7 roster. The role emphasises planning, scheduling and timely response to changing priorities in a mining environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Maintenance Planner role within mining or heavy industry.
• Experience with CMMS platforms such as SAP or Pronto.
• Strong organisational and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to prioritise maintenance demands in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to safety and doing things the right way.

Responsibilities

About the Role

With a commencement date of November 2026 and reporting to the Superintendent Maintenance, this site-based role is suited to an reliable Maintenance Planner. You'll plan and coordinate maintenance activities across our Project, ensuring work is scheduled safely and efficiently to maximise fleet availability and reliability. Working closely with supervisors, tradespeople and operational stakeholders, you'll develop maintenance plans, manage schedules and make daily adjustments to respond to changing operational priorities. You'll work alongside experienced teammates who share knowledge and support each other to get the job done safely and efficiently.

What You’ll Bring

• Previous experience in a Maintenance Planner role within a mining, heavy industry or mobile equipment environment.
• Demonstrated experience with maintenance planning and scheduling systems such as SAP, Pronto or similar CMMS platforms.
• Strong organisational, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to analyse maintenance requirements, prioritise competing demands and make effective decisions in a fast-paced environment.
