Job summary

BHP is seeking a Light Vehicle Maintenance Supervisor at Olympic Dam, South Australia. You will lead a skilled maintenance team, promoting safety and high performance to support the light vehicle fleet’s reliability in a dynamic mining site.

You will work with planners and frontline teams, driving continuous improvement, coaching tradespeople, and ensuring maintenance is completed to site standards. Rostering and cross‑functional collaboration are key elements of the role.

Qualifications

• Experience leading maintenance teams in mining/heavy industry.
• Strong focus on health, safety, environment and community (HSEC).
• Proven coaching/mentoring of tradespeople and maintenance staff.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement across levels.

Responsibilities

• Lead a safety‑driven maintenance team to ensure safe, reliable light vehicle fleet performance.
• Coach, support and develop maintenance personnel to maximise capability.
• Oversee planned, scheduled and breakdown maintenance activities.
• Collaborate with Mobile Maintenance Coordinators and stakeholders to improve equipment performance.
