Job summary

Olympic Dam, operated by BHP, invites applications for a Light Vehicle Maintenance Supervisor. You will lead a skilled maintenance team to ensure safe, reliable operation of the light vehicle fleet on a 7 days on / 7 days off roster, reporting to the Superintendent Mobile Maintenance.

You will guide planning, coaching and execution, partnering with stakeholders to deliver high standards of safety, quality and fleet performance at Olympic Dam in South Australia.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading high-performing maintenance teams in mining or heavy industry.
• Strong commitment to health, safety, environment and community (HSEC) principles.
• Experience coaching and developing tradespeople and maintenance staff.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making in fast-paced settings.
• Experience with maintenance management systems, including SAP-based programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead a safety-focused culture and promote zero-harm.
• Coach and develop maintenance personnel for capability and performance.
• Drive accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement within the team.
• Oversee planned, scheduled and breakdown maintenance across the light vehicle fleet.
• Collaborate with Mobile Maintenance Coordinators and stakeholders to improve equipment performance.
