Job summary

DCS Mining & Industrial Cleaning is seeking motivated individuals to join as casual Industrial Cleaners. Roles include cleaning of draglines, excavators, shovels and drills, plus hydro excavation and office/crib room cleaning across Mackay region and Bowen Basin.

Qualifications

• Coal Board Medical is essential for the role.
• Driver’s Licence (MR/HR preferred) required or preferred.
• Standard 11 is required.
• Confined Space training or certification.
• Gas Test Atmospheres awareness.
• Working at Heights training.
• Glencore/BMA inductions beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Clean mine site equipment and facilities in mining, civil, port and rail environments.
• Assist with maintenance and shutdown activities when required.
• Operate cleaning equipment according to safety protocols and procedures.

DCS is currently seeking motivated, hardworking, and reliable individuals to join our team of Industrial Cleaners on a casual, ad hoc basis. The positions undertake industrial cleaning and equipment operation duties in accordance with operational procedures, safety protocols, and site requirements. This role supports maintenance, shutdowns, and operational readiness across mining, civil, port, and rail environments.

• Previous mine site experience is advantageous, but not essential

• Open to new-to-industry applicants

• Willing to travel to various mine sites across the Bowen Basin

• Ideally based in or around Mackay, Rockhampton, Blackwater, or Moranbah

• Reliable, safety-focused, and adaptable

• Must have full working rights in Australia (no Working Holiday Visas)
