Northern Star Resources is seeking a Health and Safety Advisor to support the Thunderbox and Jundee Operations in WA. The role is permanent, full-time, on FIFO with an 8/6 roster, based from Perth with site travel.

You will partner with site WHS teams to drive safety outcomes and maintain the SMS. Reporting to the Health and Safety Superintendent, you will conduct audits, risk assessments, investigations, and incident follow-up while promoting a proactive safety culture and environmental

Formación

• Hold a tertiary qualification in Workplace Health & Safety or a related discipline; Lead Auditor qualification highly regarded.
• Strong understanding of risk management, incident investigation, and safety systems.
• Experience in mining, FIFO operations or remote-site environments is highly valued.

Responsabilidades

• Partner with site WHS teams and leaders to drive safety outcomes.
• Support and continuously improve the Safety Management System (SMS).
• Conduct audits, inspections and risk assessments.
• Assist with serious incident investigations and corrective actions.
• Ensure statutory reporting is completed within required timeframes.
• Coordinate corporate drug and alcohol testing programs.
• Support inductions for corporate and site-based employees.
• Promote a strong safety culture and environmental compliance.
