Northern Star Resources is seeking a Health & Safety – Critical Risk professional for a permanent, full-time role on a 4/3 or 8/6 FIFO roster to support remote WA site operations. You will drive critical risk control standards, assurance processes, and risk management culture across sites, projects and exploration teams.

The role requires delivering governance, verification, and continuous improvement of health and safety management with site leadership, risk owners, and operational teams.

Formación

• 7+ years experience in mining/related industries.
• Tertiary qualification in Occupational Health and Safety or related discipline.
• Lead Auditor qualification (ICAM or equivalent).
• Experience implementing and managing critical risk programs.
• Willingness to travel to regional/remote operations.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and support implementation of the critical risk management framework across sites and projects.
• Provide technical HSE input to improve the health and safety management system.
• Facilitate reviews of risk, bowties and critical control requirements at site level.
• Coach leaders and risk owners on critical risk ownership and verification expectations.
• Lead verification activities, audits and field inspections to ensure actions are completed.
