Job summary

MacKellar Group is seeking an experienced Maintenance Planner to coordinate planned maintenance across a large mobile mining fleet in Queensland. You’ll own maintenance planning, scheduling, defect management and backlog control to ensure safe, efficient delivery for production needs.

Responsibilities include developing maintenance plans, scheduling servicing and shutdowns, managing backlogs and tracking defects.

Qualifications

• Proven maintenance planning experience in heavy mining.
• Strong knowledge of ultra-class mining equipment.
• Current mechanical trade qualification.

Responsibilities

• Develop short and long-term maintenance plans.
• Schedule servicing, component replacements and shutdowns.
• Manage maintenance backlogs and prioritise critical work.
• Track equipment defects and coordinate corrective actions.
• Work with Supervisors, Trades and Operations.
• Escalate critical equipment issues and emerging risks.
