Glencore Australia invites applications for a Mining Engineer at Mt Owen/Glendell Operations (MGO) in the Hunter Valley, NSW. You will join the Technical Services Team and contribute to either Short-Term Planning or Drill & Blast, translating plans into practical, safe, and efficient operation.

The role reports to the Senior Mining Engineer and requires a relevant engineering degree, familiarity with mine design tools, and strong teamwork across levels.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Engineering (Mining/Civil or related field).
• Experience with mine design and scheduling packages.
• Minimum two years of relevant experience (desirable).
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Create Truck & Excavator designs and schedules for Short-Term Planning or support planning, design and execution in Drill and Blast.
