Job summary

PLS in the Pilbara is seeking a Mine Technology Technician to join the Pilgangoora Mine Technology Team. You will install, operate and maintain OT equipment used by mining and processing teams in a permanent FIFO role (8:6 from Perth).

Reporting to the Mine Technology Supervisor, you will work with Contractors, implement maintenance plans, and ensure safety and compliance while delivering reliable operation across the site.

Qualifications

• Certificate IV or Diploma in Auto Electrical, Radio Communications or Electronics.
• 2–3 years’ experience in electrical communication systems.
• Maintenance experience for onboard operation technology equipment.
• 2 years’ experience supporting OT assets in a 24/7 production environment.
• WA Class C Driver’s Licence.
• Mining OT applications experience (Fleet Management, process control).

Responsibilities

• Lead and support implementation of OT systems and processes.
• Identify maintenance needs and training opportunities.
• Collaborate with Contractors and guide PLS procedures.
• Participate in CAPEX and OPEX projects.
• Maintain safety and perform risk assessments for OT assets.
• Provide onsite 24/7 support for critical system failures.
