Job summary

Evolution Mining Ltd. in Australia is seeking a skilled Surveyor to provide accurate support across underground and open pit operations. The role operates on an 8:6 roster (12-hour days) and offers residential work in Kalgoorlie-Boulder or FIFO from Perth, with relocation options within Australia.

You will maintain survey control, deliver aerial photogrammetry, and contribute to mine planning and safety. Suitable candidates have mine surveying qualifications and WA Authorised status or

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Surveying, ideally with mine surveying focus.
• Experience in mine surveying and strong understanding of survey principles.
• WA Authorised Mine Surveyor (Grade 1) or working towards authorisation.
• Experience in underground and/or open pit mining environments.
• Strong communication with technical and operational stakeholders.
• High attention to detail and timely survey information.
• Good problem-solving, planning and prioritisation skills.
• Proactive safety mindset with health and safety practices.
• RePL certification or drone surveying experience advantageous.
• Current C Class Driver's Licence.

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate and timely survey support to underground and open pit mining operations.
• Ensure mining activities stay on track through set out of development, production drilling, pit designs and ore delineation.
• Maintain and manage survey control networks, digital mine models and site services data.
• Deliver aerial photogrammetry, end-of-month reporting and other critical survey outputs.
• Produce and maintain mine plans, emergency plans and survey records to standards.
• Support exploration and project activities through reliable spatial data and survey expertise.
• Mentor graduate and trainee surveyors.
