Job summary

Northern Star Resources is seeking a driven Mine Surveyor for our Jundee Operations. Reporting to the Survey Superintendent, you will support underground and surface mining surveying, including drill hole surveys, survey plans, and accurate plan issuance.

This FIFO role operates on an 8:6 roster, flying from Perth, offering the chance to contribute to Australia’s premier gold operation. Candidates should have 1–2 years of underground surveying experience and hold an Advanced Diploma or

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of practical experience, preferably in a fast-paced underground mining environment.
• Deswik software packages familiarity is desirable.
• Advanced Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Surveying with WA C Class Manual Drivers Licence.

Responsibilities

• Oversee survey marks out of drill and blast rings, mine heading development, exploration drilling and raise bore drilling.
• Survey control for all related mining activities.
• Assist with survey plans including survey instructions (horizontal and vertical development), end of month surveys, dig permits and emergency response plans.
• Survey of end of month development and ore stockpiles, stope surveys, heading development, geological mapping and surface works when required.
