Job summary

Eastern Guruma is seeking a hands-on Training and Assessment professional to deliver and assess training across our mining and civil construction projects in the Pilbara. Reporting to operational leadership, you will develop training plans, verify competency, and maintain records to ensure workforce safety and compliance.

The role suits professionals who thrive on building strong learning cultures and working with site teams.

Qualifications

• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122) or equivalent.
• Experience delivering training and conducting assessments in mining, civil construction or similar.
• Knowledge of VOCs and training compliance.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organisational skills and training-record maintenance.
• Proactive approach to identifying training needs and workforce capability.
• Ability to work with site teams and stakeholders.
• Current Australian driver’s licence and ability to meet site medical requirements.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and assess training in accordance with training packages and site requirements.
• Conduct workplace assessments and verify competency.
• Develop, coordinate and maintain training plans and records.
• Identify training gaps and recommend development opportunities.
• Support inductions, refresher training and VOCs.
• Ensure compliance with legislation and industry standards.
• Maintain training records, licences and documentation.
• Collaborate with operational leaders to address training needs.
• Coordinate refresher training for expiring qualifications.
