Job summary
Essential Mining Solutions (EMS) in Muswellbrook, NSW, is hiring experienced Plant Mechanics for mine site roles across the Hunter Valley. You will diagnose, service and repair heavy earthmoving and mining equipment, with safety and quality at the forefront.

Qualifications
- Experience with heavy earthmoving or mining equipment.
- Relevant Mechanical Trade Qualification.
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
- Current Australian driver’s licence.
- Current Coal Board Medical or willingness to obtain.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Diagnostics, troubleshooting and fault finding on heavy mining equipment.
- Servicing, maintaining and repairing heavy earthmoving machinery.
- Preventative maintenance, breakdowns and major repairs.
- Working independently or as part of a site maintenance crew.
- Maintaining high safety and workmanship standards.
- Supporting civil projects as opportunities arise.
