Job summary

Manuka Resources Limited is seeking a Safety, Training and Emergency Response Officer to oversee safety programs, training development and emergency response at the Wonawinta project site. The role supports incident investigations, risk assessments and toolbox talks while ensuring compliance across underground and surface operations.

The successful candidate will be practical, calm under pressure and capable in a mining environment, with relevant WHS qualifications and experience in emergency

Qualifications

• Must have relevant WHS and mining safety experience.
• Proven ability to develop and deliver training packages for underground and surface operations.
• Experience managing statutory training compliance in line with NSW WHS legislation.
• Strong documentation and onboarding capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Support incident reporting and investigations.
• Review and improve safety management systems and training materials.
• Conduct site inspections, audits, and toolbox talks.
• Deliver training and assess competencies; maintain training records.
