Northern Star Mining Services Limited in Western Australia seeks an experienced Emergency Management professional to lead site readiness, oversee emergency plans and train the Emergency Response Team.

You will ensure compliance with WHS legislation, manage incident response, and support ongoing safety culture with the STARR core values, offering strong progression and industry-leading benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in mining environments with WHS compliance focus.
• Ability to develop and review emergency plans and procedures.
• Strong communication, training and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with HSE management systems and promote safety culture.
• Maintain and improve Emergency Management Plans and site documentation.
• Lead emergency risk assessments and provide specialist advice.
• Oversee readiness and maintenance of emergency equipment and vehicles.
• Deliver emergency response training and competency programs.
• Plan and execute emergency drills and exercises.
• Act as First Responder and liaise with external emergency services.
