Job summary

Gold Fields Group Services (Pty) Ltd is offering a permanent Production Engineer role based in Kambalda East, WA. You will facilitate efficient extraction by providing robust production planning and scheduling, aligning with short- and medium-term targets, and ensuring compliance with EHS standards.

The position may include company-provided accommodation for eligible relocations. You’ll develop two-week schedules, work with the Senior Mine Production Engineer, and contribute to weekly and daily

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mining Engineering or equivalent.
• Proven underground/surface mining experience with exposure to longhole drilling, blasting, ventilation, projects, planning and scheduling.
• Experience using Deswik and Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage the two-week mine schedule in consultation with key stakeholders.
• Support the mining operation by working with the Senior Mine Production Engineer to achieve production and safety targets.
• Develop, implement, and monitor reporting (weekly/daily) to support informed decision-making and track performance.
• Create drill and blast designs using up-to-date economic and geological information.
• Monitor progress to ensure activities align with weekly production targets and safety standards.
