Job summary

AIC Mines Limited is seeking a Laboratory Technician for Eloise Copper Mine in North West Queensland. You will perform daily sample analysis, including registration, sample prep and wet chemistry, and undertake metallurgical tests like moisture and float analysis. Maintain records and ensure accurate reporting of results.

The role requires a safety-focused team player willing to work a rotating 15/13 day roster with FIFO from Townsville, and onsite accommodation is provided.

Qualifications

• Recent and relevant experience as a mine Laboratory Technician.
• AAS spectroscopy experience is desirable.
• Experience with Auto titrators and copper determination methods is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Daily sample analysis, including registration, preparation and wet chemistry.
• Metallurgical test work such as moisture, size analysis and float testing.
• Record and report results and maintain accurate records of analyses.
• Maintain and clean laboratory equipment and adhere to safety procedures.
