Job summary

Ravensworth Operations in NSW Hunter Valley near Singleton is hiring a Health and Safety Officer. You will report to the Safety Coordinator and lead risk assessments, support incident investigations, and promote a positive safety culture across operations.

Qualifications

• Cert IV in Work Health and Safety, or relevant qualification.
• Knowledge of contemporary Work Health and Safety Practices.
• Highly developed interpersonal, verbal, and written communications skills.

Responsibilities

• Facilitating risk assessments and conducting quality observations to enhance risk processes used in the field including SLAM’s and JSA’s
• Supporting incident investigation activities and provide coaching on the investigation process to frontline Supervisors as required
• Providing support to the operational area and HST team with strong customer service to provide proactive solutions and to facilitate effective health and safety management and a positive safety culture.
• Conducting analysis of data to identify trends, measure performance, and inform decision-making.
