Job summary

AMAST Safety & Rescue, based in Mackay, seeks experienced Equipment Operators to join its Emergency Response Team. You will perform day-to-day machine operations and be part of the site emergency response team, ready to respond to emergencies when required.

Ideal candidates hold or will obtain ERT competencies, RII Operator Tickets for various machinery, and health certifications (Standard 11, Coal Board medical). The roster is 7 on, 7 off with travel on offer and camp meals provided.

Qualifications

• Current RII machine Operator Ticket with experience for listed machines.
• ERT qualifications/competencies or willing to obtain.
• Ideally hold a current Standard 11 and Coal Board medical.
• Collect specimens for drugs of abuse testing (D&A testing certification).
• Current Provide advanced resuscitation and oxygen therapy skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate machines daily and support site operations.
• Be part of the site emergency response team.
• Respond to emergencies when required.
• Demonstrate teamwork and maintain safety standards.
