Job summary

Stanmore Resources Limited is seeking a Mining Electrician to join the Maintenance Department at South Walker Creek. You will drive maintenance quality to improve fleet performance, execute the maintenance plan and collaborate with the wider team on scope, isolation requirements and activities.

The role requires a trade-qualified electrician with mining experience, strong safety culture, and solid communication skills to adapt to changing conditions and learn new skills.

Qualifications

• Electrical Technician with Dragline & CHPP maintenance experience.
• Trade qualification with 2 years post-trade experience and 12 months in mining or similar environment.
• Commitment to wellbeing and speak up for safety.
• Effective communication skills.
• Adaptability to changing conditions and mining techniques.
• Eagerness to learn and broaden skills.
• Proactive approach to waste reduction and cost effectiveness.

Responsibilities

• Improve fleet performance through quality maintenance practices.
• Execute the maintenance plan.
• Liaise with Maintenance team to develop, validate and challenge the scope of work, including preparation requirements, isolation requirements and maintenance activities.
• Liaise with Planners & Schedulers to ensure schedule is updated during execution to reflect performance against plan.
• Liaise with contracting partners for various activities.

We are currently seeking a Mining Electrician to join our team in our Maintenance Department at South Walker Creek.

About The Role

In this role, you will be responsible for:

• Improving fleet performance through quality maintenance practices
• Executing the maintenance plan
• Liaising with the wider Maintenance team to develop, validate and challenge the scope of work, including preparation requirements, isolation requirements and maintenance activities
• Liaising with the Planners & Schedulers to ensure schedule is updated during execution to reflect performance against plan
• Liaising with contracting partners for various activities

To Be Considered For This Role, You Will Need

• Proven experience as an Electrical Technician maintaining Dragline & CHPP equipment.
• Trade qualified with 2 years post trade experience and 12 months experience in a mining or similar environment.
• Proven commitment to look after your own wellbeing and the confidence to speak up when others put themselves in harm’s way.
• Effective communication skills.
• Adaptability to operate to changing work conditions and required mining techniques.
• An eagerness to learn and motivation to broaden your skills.
• Demonstrate a proactive approach and a positive outlook to waste reduction and cost effectiveness.

Qualifications Required

• EEHA Qualification (desirable)
• SAP experience (desirable)

• Sound computer skills, i.e. microsoft suite of products
