Job summary

Riverina invites applications for a Mill Worker to join our Oakey production team. You will gain hands-on experience across mill operations, from batching to quality assurance, supporting Australian farmers and producers.

This role offers hands-on training, a supportive team, and opportunities to grow your skills within our manufacturing environment. The position is shift-based, requiring flexible day, afternoon and night shifts, with a strong emphasis on safety, teamwork and delivering quality

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor and maintain mill equipment to produce high-quality animal feed products safely and efficiently.

• Support production processes to meet quality standards and production targets.
• Complete quality checks to ensure Riverina’s standards.
• Identify and communicate any production, safety or quality issues promptly.
• Contribute ideas to improve safety and efficiency.
• Follow procedures and maintain a clean, organized production environment.
• Work with teammates to achieve daily goals and a positive team culture.

About the opportunity

We are seeking a motivated and reliable Mill Worker to join our Oakey production team.

This is an opportunity to build a career within the agricultural industry, working alongside experienced operators to produce high-quality animal feed products that support Australian farmers and producers.

As a Mill Worker, you will gain exposure across different areas of our mill operations, including production, premix, hand tipping, process control, equipment operation and quality assurance activities.

What you’ll be doing

As part of our production team, you will play an important role in safely operating our feed manufacturing processes and producing quality products for our customers.

You will:

• Operate, monitor and maintain mill equipment to produce high-quality animal feed products safely and efficiently
• Develop your skills across multiple areas of our mill operations, including:
  • Batching and premix operations
  • Raw material handling
  • Process control systems
  • Finished product handling
  • Equipment operation and care
• Support production processes to achieve quality standards and production targets
• Complete quality checks to ensure products meet Riverina’s standards
• Identify and communicate any production, safety or quality issues promptly
• Contribute ideas and suggestions to improve safety, efficiency and the way we operate
• Follow operating procedures, safety requirements and quality standards
• Maintain a clean, organised and efficient production environment
• Work collaboratively with your teammates to achieve daily production goals and support a positive team culture
