Job summary

Our client in the Australian agricultural manufacturing sector is seeking a Mill Production Operator for day shifts at their facility in New South Wales. This role involves operating intake systems and press equipment, forklift movements of grain, and monitoring critical control points to ensure safety and quality.

You will also perform inventory reconciliation, participate in stocktakes and data entry, and help maintain plant and equipment in safe working order.

Qualifications

• Current Driver’s Licence or equivalent required.
• Sound understanding of OH&S and environmental policies.
• Basic computing skills are required.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• Previous manufacturing experience is advantageous but not essential.

What you will be doing

As a Mill Production Operator you will be responsible for the below duties:

Operating intake systems and press equipment

Unloading and loading grain trucks using Forklift

Monitoring Feed Safe critical control points with attention to detail

Performing accurate inventory reconciliation and reporting

Participating in stocktakes and production data entry

Ensuring plant and equipment are maintained in safe working order

Working Monday to Friday (7:00am – 3:30pm), with occasional weekend overtime

What you will need

– To be successful in this role you will need to have the below:

Current Driver’s Licence

Sound understanding of OH&S and environmental policies

Basic computing skills,

Strong communication skills and attention to detail

Previous manufacturing experience is advantageous but not essential
